The longest rivers: the Nile. The Nile is a flowing rivers in the northern and eastern Africa, the Nile 6,670 kilometers long, is the world's longest river. Nile has two major tributaries, the White Nile and the Blue Nile. Originated in the Ethiopian highlands of the Blue Nile Nile River is the source of most of the water and nutrients, but two tributaries of the White Nile is the longest.
